Keep Your Conversation Records Clean and Organized with "Delete Message" 👍

Managing messages just got easier with the Message Center! The new "Delete Message" feature lets you effortlessly remove sensitive customer data or unnecessary messages, keeping your conversation records organized. 😎

How to delete messages in Message Center?

Step 1. Go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Social Commerce] > [Message Center] and click the "Shop Message" or "Instant Message" tab.

Step 2. Enter the customer's conversation and hover your cursor over the message you want to delete. A "trash bin" icon will appear.

Step 3. Click on the icon, and a confirmation message will appear. Once deleted, the message will no longer be visible in the conversation.

📍 Remarks

  • You can delete messages sent by merchants and customers.
  • If the "delete message" feature is not available, please go to [Settings] > [Permission & Security] and edit the permissions for staff members. In the "Message Center" tab, check the box for "Delete Message" and click Update.
  • When you reply to "Shop Message" or "Order Message", the system will automatically send the customer an email or SMS notification. Deleting the reply from the Message Center will not affect any emails or SMS messages the customer has already received.
  • Even if you delete an "Instant Message" from the Message Center, the customer can still view the full conversation history on the social platform.
