Product Subscription Update: Child Orders Now Support Automatic Store Credits Redemption 💰

Product subscription is key to stabilizing revenue and boosting member loyalty. Child orders now support "Automatic store credits redemption", which applies your store's redemption rules to future recurring orders for a seamless renewal experience.

📣 Please note: "Automatic store credits redemption" is enabled by default for new subscription orders and disabled by default for existing orders. You can follow the steps below to enable or disable the feature.

📌 Set up

Go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Order Management] > [Product Subscription]. Click the product name to enter the "Subscription information" page, then click Edit.

Click the "Automatic store credits redemption" drop-down menu, select "on/off" and click Save.

🌐 Storefront display

If logged-in customers add subscription products and the "Online Store Credit Redemption" feature is enabled, a prompt will appear during checkout as shown below:

💡 Note

• If the "Online Store Credit Redemption" feature is disabled, automatic credit redemption for subscriptions will not take effect.
