Security Update: Get Email Notifications for Unrecognized Device or Location Logins 🔐

To strengthen the security of store admin accounts, SHOPLINE now sends an email notification whenever a login attempt is detected from an unrecognized device or location. This helps you monitor potentially suspicious activity and respond quickly if needed.

• How we identify unrecognized devices 💻
  We look at the devices an admin has used over the last 60 days. The top 4 devices with at least 2 days of login activity are saved as frequently used devices. Logins from any other device will trigger a notification.

• How we identify unrecognized locations 🌏
  We look at the cities logged into over the last 60 days. The top 3 cities with at least 2 days of login activity are saved as frequently used locations. Logins from any other city will trigger a notification.

🚧 Notes

• Security email notifications are just to keep you informed. The system will not automatically log the admin out.
• The very first login of a newly registered admin account will not trigger a security notification.
